We are pleased to reveal that the Malt gets various visitors as a result of seeing the information on this site.
Here are some that we can remember:
July saw a visit from a lovely group of ladies apparently from Cape Cod. They had stumbled across the website and felt obliged to see the place in real life whilst in the area. They were made most welcome by the Guv and seemed to have a good time.
A special mention goes to Jessica from Pearl River Productions who was kind enough to leave her card.
As a graduation present, Nick (the tall one) asked his Mum (Shel) particularly for a trip to the Malt. Something like that, anyway, though a trip to London and then on to the UAE to do some SCUBA diving may also have been part of the deal. Shel and Nick come from Canada (the bit on top of the USA where they have Mounties and wolves and they brew proper beer) and had brought a friend — Simon the garden gnome who wanted to see the world. Shel had spent time in North Finchley some time ago, and according to her email:
Nick and I had a great time at
the Malt that night. Brought back some memories for me, and made some new
ones for both of us!
